Getting here:
Pretty much everywhere in Bali, especially in the Central region. My photos were taken between the town of Tabanan, the village of Sayan and finally in Ubud.

Description:
Bali is world-famous for its rice terrace. While different travel guides will put acclaim to certain spots in Central Bali having the best view of rice terraces, the judgment is probably still out there, depending where you are heading to or which rice growing season a particular village is having.

Normally, the most picturesque view is achievable during the early stage of rice growing. If you are lucky to spot one, you will be treated with miles and miles of alluring greenery. Late stages of rice growing are usually denoted with golden yellow hues. After done harvesting, the fields are usually left bare with mud. If you are lucky, you can see traditional rice growers using water buffalos to plow the soil.

Many people would think that rice farming is an industry for the Balinese. Nonetheless, I was told by my driver that most of the harvest is for own consumption.

My verdict:
A must-see attraction in Bali!
